In the fishing port of Miyako, in Iwate prefecture, boats were overturned, while video from Kamaishi city shows cars being dragged down city streets by the water.
The tsunami that followed the 8.9-magnitude earthquake wreaked havoc along a huge stretch of Japan's north-east coast, sweeping far inland and devastating a number of towns and villages. Powerful aftershocks are continuing to hit the region.

Me recuerda a la peli del señor de los anillos cuando frodo y la que se benefia a Aragon es perseguido por los jinetes oscuros despues de que le hayan clavado la daga. Y al llegar al rio, la chica usa un conjuro, o algo por el estilo, para que el rio se desborde y se los lleve.

Es increíble como llega la ola y sigue el agua empujando por detrás!
Para tsunamis no creo que este ningún país preparado, pero si eso pasa aquí en España... No quiero ni pensarlo! :S
